Welcome to my (very much still in progress) website. By way of introduction, I’m an ecological and evolutionary physiologist in the Department of Biology, University of Washington, Seattle. Officially, I’m an Emeritus Professor of Biology, but I’m still active in research.

My main passion is doing research, but also I like to hike, backpack (local and foreign), and cook (international).
