Welcome to my (very much still in progress) website. By way of introduction, I’m an ecological and evolutionary physiologist in the Department of Biology, University of Washington, Seattle. Officially, I’m an Emeritus Professor of Biology, but I’m still active in research.
Below I’ve listed my educational background and professional experience. You can read about my interests, my CV, all my publications, my favorite publications, my ‘biggest hits’, advice to graduate students, and links to a few interviews and seminars.
My main passion is doing research, but also I like to hike, backpack (local and foreign), and cook (international).
